South Whitehall Township has passed its first noise ordinance Wednesday, which will tackle excessive noise violations such as loud music, barking dogs, construction, truck operations, and fireworks. Some residents, like those living next to the Village West Shopping Center, have wanted some reprieve for 40 years.
