It is based in Greensboro, North Carolina, and produces local sections for Greensboro and Rockingham County, North Carolina. As of September 30, 2011, it had an average weekday circulation of about 54,789 and an average Sunday circulation of about 81,600.The News & Record is also the third largest paper in North Carolina after the News & Observer and Charlotte Observer.
