Shannon Mayorga, 20, was arrested Friday on a first-degree murder warrant, a day after Randall Rudd, 23, was arrested on the same warrant in the June slaying of Juan Manuel Rosas, 43, of Denton, Texas, the OSBI said Friday. Court and jail records do not list defense attorneys for Rudd or Mayorga, who remain jailed in Texas pending extradition, according to the OSBI. Rosas' body was found June 7 in a field alongside Interstate 35 in Murray County.

LONDON (AP) - British Prime Minister Boris Johnson talked tough on Sunday ahead of a crucial round of post-Brexit trade talks with the European Union, saying Britain could walk away from the talks within weeks and insisting that a no-deal exit would be a "good outcome for the U.K." With talks deadlocked, Johnson said an agreement would only be possible if EU negotiators are prepared to "rethink their current positions." The EU, in turn, accuses Britain of failing to negotiate seriously. One of them, "Miss Marx," certainly backs that trend. The historical drama profiles Karl Marx's youngest daughter, Eleanor, an innovative British-born social activist and women's rights campaigner who wrote the first English translation of Flaubert's "Madame Bovary." But Italian director Susanna Nicchiarelli also sought to highlight the less-than-empowered side of Miss Marx, who for years tolerated her louse of a partner as he cheated on her, squandered her money and otherwise humiliated her. "The focus was on the dichotomy between the public activism and her public beliefs and the inconsistency with her private relationship," said Romola Garai, who plays Eleanor in the film. "We are left to wonder why and how human beings can be so eloquent on the one hand, and that can so not enter your psyche on the other hand." MELK, Austria (AP) - An Austrian man beat his own record for the longest full body contact with ice cubes on Saturday. Josef Koeberl managed to stay 2 hours, 30 minutes and 57 seconds inside a custom-made glass box filled up to his shoulders with ice cubes. More than 200 kilograms (440 pounds) of ice cubes were needed to fill up the box, after Koeberl stepped inside wearing nothing but swim trunks. In order to fight the "wave of pain" caused by the freezing temperatures, Koeberl says he was trying to focus on positive emotions. "I'm fighting the pain by visualizing and drawing on positive emotions so I can dampen this wave of pain," Koeberl told reporters. "That way I can endure." A small crowd of people watched on as Koeberl beat his own record from 2019 by 30 minutes on the town square of Melk in Lower Austria. After being taken out of the ice box by helpers he said that the sun felt "really great" on his back. Koeberl is planning to beat his own record one more time - next year in Los Angeles. His team said that Koeberl's personal record is also the current world record when it comes to exposing the body to ice for as long as possible.
